The Burle Marx Flame is a hybrid plant that was created by crossing the Monstera Dilacerata with the Philodendron Insulare. I have 3 that are slightly smaller than yours, and they LOVE higher lighting. They probably appreciate higher lighting because of the Philodendron genes.

My first Thai Con was a tissue culture. I spent a lot of money buying and failing. I now have e two that I bought as established plants and a cutting. I put them outside this spring and they have grown so much that I regret the time when I have to bring them back inside. Your Albo is stunning. Mine has grown so much since it has been outside.

Love your collection and videos. Been watching the past few weeks. I appreciate your more casual approach rather than purchasing every new expensive product that makes plant care more complicated. I also bought the monsters thai tissue culture. Was growing great but I overwatered 😢. Now I have it rerooting in moss. Fingers crossed- I don’t want to lose it.

@@lindacambria5413 thank you so much for the support! I am a simple gal. I have tried a lot of the things but I always go back to the simplicity’s of the hobby. I also know it’s easy to get sucked into overconsumption. Social media is always telling us what we need lol. But do we really? Putting your Thai baby in moss or fluval stratum under 💯 humidity is what I would do. I hope it turns around for you 🤞🏻 thanks for being here!! Happy growing!!

@@PlantedinPlatinum I should find a spot for her in the cabinet. Trouble is that is a hanging pot she is in and it’s kinda heavy. Sooooo perhaps my succulent window would be better. Much higher light and I’m sure I can sneak another hook in! lol. 😂 she’s worth it!!

Since u grow veggies & houseplants, I was wondering if pests that are specific to certain veggies would affect a houseplant. For example, I had aphids on my pepper plants but they don't travel to my ficus for some reason even though they're next to each other 🤔

@@AhmadAsrafHashim so, I have def had my fair share of pests both in and out. However, while aphids will munch on houseplants I find they pretty much seem to stick to my hibiscus. I have no idea why. I’ve never had them inside. I have found that some bugs must prefer the outside. When it comes to thrips spider mites and mealies I have had them outside and inside. As for aphids you can usually spray the plant down with water. You can also spray neem oil or a little bit of dawn and water. There easier to get rid of then some of them! Silly pests!!

@@AhmadAsrafHashim that should be fine. Keep an 👀 out and treat repeatedly if need be. I feel you. I hate Neem. I use it as a preventative but I much prefer alcohol and Castille soap. I forgot to mention that mixture before but I use it most often as a preventative and treatment. Two thirds water to one part rubbing alcohol. Mix in a few drops of castille peppermint soap and tea tree. The bugs hate it! But it smells wonderful to me!! I like to make the mixture in a continuous spray bottle as I find it gives me the best even coverage. Don’t forget the backs of the leaves 😊

@@Anthuriumaesthetic I can’t tell you how much that comment means to me. I’m not really all that comfortable in front of the camera. I wait for John( my boyfriend) to be busy or out of the house before I can film lol. 😂 to be honest that’s really silly because he’s my biggest supporter in anything I do, but something about talking to the camera when someone is around feels soooo uncomfortable. I’m trying to get over that, but I admit today he left to run his errands and only then did I have the courage to jump on and film. I really appreciate the feedback! Tysm!! 🫶💚

Thank you so much for watching! I LOVE crafting!! I have so much supplies and I haven’t been using them. What a lovely suggestion. I’ll have to come up with something! As far as the garden goes we were able to harvest quite a a bit for a first time. Most everything has fizzled out due to this extreme heat. I would be happy to do an update and kind of incorporate tips on what I have learned so far on my first attempt. I will be planting fall/winter crops soon! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas! 💡 it’s always nice to make content people actually want to see! ☺️ I wish you a wonderful weekend!

Hi from Cleveland Oh 👋 I work from home and it was nice spending the last 2 hours of my shift with you!!!! 😊 I purchased a Regale rhizome back in November and it has grown three leaves that would have been near flawless if not for my meddling and moving the plant around for IG pics 😥🙄 I can't wait until it sizes up - I just have to not move, touch, or look at it!!!

Totally share your love for Rhipsalis :) The fishbone cactus is not a Euphorbia. Its name is Epiphyllum anguliger or Disocactus anguliger. It's a tropical cactus and an epiphyte, meaning it grows on trees in its natural habitat. It should be treated more like a tropical plant than like a cactus. Just so you know 😊 And another thing I keep wondering about: Why do so many of you KZbinrs say "cacti" to a single plant? Cacti is just the Latin plural for cactus, it's not a different group of plants. Just had to finally say this somewhere 😅
