This is NOT worth the price of admission. Motormaster made the high price tolerable by having his combiner kibble become the trailer, an essential part of his design, and having a fully functioning base mode included with the base parts while still creating a very good robot and truck mode for motormaster himself. Even if you were never to combine him with the other stunticons, you'd have a solid battle station to pair him with. Silverbolt on the other hand has his combiner kibble form either a brick...or makes his altmode worse. Left uncombined, you get a slab of plastic that makes the figure WORSE. The superion frame itself is also inexcusably inaccurate; do not be blinded by the accuracy of the chest and head, the arms and legs are flat out wrong and even the frame style of combination is inexcusably innacurate as superion was always a proper combiner and never like menasor's combination style. Just get the combiner wars ko, it's far cheaper and at least that thing actually combines...

I will say that as much as I'm liking these upcoming combiners, the lack of opening hands on a Commander IS kind of disappointing when every other non-combiner Commander has it I'm not even expecting pointing fingers or anything, but if they can give opening hands to flippin' 86 Hot Rod, there's no excuse to not do it for Commanders

As a 40 year old collector, I could not be happier. This thing has my generation in its crosshairs. It’s exactly what I want and the price is justified for me. I don’t know what people were expecting from future combiners. It’s literally the same market model as Legacy Menasor. I’m sure it will be way more appreciated upon release.

I think that my ONLY 'nitpick' is that the combined mode doesn't have the forearm mounted blaster, or at the very least a place to mount the blaster as it was in the cartoon.

Combiner wars was good for it's time. The last set. with the seacons, with ankle joints... still made it hard to pose standing. And the arms couldn't hold any kind of poses.

I feel the amount of hate/critical Reponses will be overruled by just how many fans/collectors inevitably buy these modern combiners despite how they currently feel. I really like what's going on with the Arialbots, and Constructicons. I see the same value here as I did with Motormaster though the attempt here actually better as he actually has a decent gun opposed to the trailer bits used for Menasaurs primary weapon

I think he'll look good in skeleton mode. I'm not impressed with the booster or bulwark. It is nice that all that kibble is used up. I'm hoping there will be some other inventive uses for the booster body. I just hope Takara or Hasbro change their mind and do some made to order 40th anniversary vintage boxsets for Superion and Devastator. Those would be sick display pieces.
