African lofi was exactly what I was looking for to study to! Afrobeat by itself has too much flavor for me to concentrate but a lofi version has just enough flavor for me to study and jam a little bit haha I also have a suggestion: it might help your channel become more recongnized if you did lofi version of popular Afrobeat songs like Fall, Joanna, Ojuelegba, etc. You are doing a good job though, so props to you, Mr Yuhan!

Lol, I know what you mean about regular Afrobeats songs - even if you play the instrumentals, you won’t be able to focus. First you start humming quietly, then slowly singing along, then finally full blown dancing 😂😂

So chill. This has motivated me to incorporate more folk/world music into my lofi productions. As someone of indian heritage, I have attempted using indian rhythms and instruments into my lofi, and I've played around with middle-eastern and east-asian instruments too. But this has made me realise that I've been missing out on inspiration from other places, like african and south american music.

Here is the something, anything I will tell you: There is a flower native to northern Japan known as the skeleton flower. It has white petals that become as clear as glass when they get wet; you can actually see through the petals until they dry off and become opaque again We live in an amazing universe. I've never heard this lofi before. It sounds soothing and just feels nice. Much different from Jazz, techno, and other lofi's. To me, the sound itself is not overwhelming and its not full of extra sounds that don't seem to blend well. 🥰
