@@sarahtachibana1333 it really is a show that brings out the worst in its character in depth, which allows the people who have gone through similar experiences to process their own issues. That's comforting in its own right. Due to bad role models growing up, I used to see adulthood as this big, corrupted thing that'll take all my innocence and aspirations, crush them, and make me as miserable as the grownups around me. Utena taught me that The End of the World is not the only path towards adulthood and I'll forever be grateful for that.
