Well monsters do have an ingrain might makes right and survival of the strongest, so they were beaten unless they believe their captive is weaker they will not needlessly rebel ... or they think they can escape .... Plus they did have a "explanation" from the guy who oneshoted a reviving Charybdis ... ... in addition the ones going here were selected and were accompanied by lot of Beastmen from Euranazia, and Sufia and Alvis were also there ... with Alvis defeating their strongest ... With all that in mind few would have a mind to cause issue so no whips or chains needed That said in the novel the temporary housing is a tent city .... not built houses ...

Loving these light hearted, slow paced, chill, world building, slices of life episodes. There are so many races in slime! Also love how the anime doesn't treat us like stupid, completely. I mean we are but it feels great not to be treated like one.

Kind of a filler/info dump episode but I guess it needed to happen eventually to set up more plotlines. Hopefully next episode is a bit more eventful with the festival, maybe Luminus' faction will make an entrance.

not a filler, cuz there are no fillers in tensura, if anything its still missing a whole lot of the info from the source material, which is really sad about the info dump, i agree, but thats what slime is from, world building and information

@@NightSlayer-DayBreak By that logic no book chapter or episode of anything is ever filler. There were no major fights, no major insights, no big confrontations, just small advancements of a bunch of plot points. That is a filler episode. They have to happen for a show to have depth, which is what I said. And yes, written material is always better (99%), much more room for depth which makes everything more impactful. I feel the same as you about Mushoku.

@@Hypnos.7 dude, do u even have any idea what kind of filler this is… look at naruto its full of fillers, episodes that have story in it, that were not part of the original source. now look at tensura, all of it are from the source, no added bs, but has so much missing bs, that its missing the supposed “filler”, if tensura is full of filler, then i want the whole show to be a filler, because they took out a whole story arc from s1, 3 episode worth of greatness in s2, and major details once again in s3 if this is filler, then give me the whole story of slime as a filler, and not such a rushed show. they didn’t even explain the magic, skills and power system of the story. u have to go and find it from outside sources just to understand it

@@Hypnos.7 and fillers, are implemented in the story as just an added substance, that doesn’t give anything for the future arcs of stories, but in this episodes, its full of lore, info, character interaction that shows the viewers what is their current stand, are they friends or closer than friends, through actions rather than words. also any and each episodes of tensura way back from s1 ep1 is all a foreshadowing to each arcs, meaning episodes like this are all lore and foreshadowing that its so great as a story writing perspective. If u pay attention enough remember the charybdis arc? you wouldn’t know how powerful veldora is, until u see his supposed “son” even though he was sealed by a hero, for all you know because slime ate the unlimited imprisonment, the hero is weak, but noo, u see just how powerful they are from veldora birthing a child, just from his aura. im not going to ln source specifics, cuz one whole volume of the source could be 24+ episodes in an anime, but not good if made that way, so u see this rushed ash episodes(from our standards as source readers)
