Generally, people refer to the series as "Tensura" The Japanese name is _Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken,_ so you just take the "ten" from Tensei (reincarnation) and "sura" from Suraimu (Slime) and mash them together to get Tensura.

It wasn't until the mid 1800s that the meaning of "extreme" or "terrible" gave way to the modern connotation of "wonderful" or "grand". Japanaese light novel titles, which is the source material for this anime, have very literal titles. I think it is so you know exactly what you are getting when you start the book. There are a lot stranger titles out there. Like and I kid you not, this is a title verbatim "Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World" Like that is less a title and more of full on plot synopsis.

From what I know, these titles are like this because the web novel site these come from are made into light novels if they’re popular enough in the top listings. That ends up creating these uncreate and often long summary-like titles to grab readers who quick browse those novels like a dating site.

similar series Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?, only first half a season is mc fighting trough the cave mc is in, its survival horror experience for mc sins there are a lot stronger mobs roaming around eating weaker ones while slime goes trough hes cave like its a Childs play, but no nation building like in slime, and other ways it is inferior to slime series 3:44 good thing its not what it sounds like cause of the context of what he said before 😂 11:36 similar thing with me, i was like this cant possibly be good so i pushed watching it back few times

1:00 MHA has terrible writing and glaring plotholes. Ex: a one-dimensional prick with false depth and nothing to show for it. Ex: stranger who could very well have been trying to kill himself, have this massive power, one for which we already had a prodigy who has trained for years to inherit, despite the fact that you might be some lunatic who can hide it well and this move will cause hundreds of deaths, as the power increases with the existing abilities of the user and would have made Mirio powerful enough to save everyone. This will completely kill the narrative point about you having nothing handed to you in a world where there are already people who do so much without a convenient crutch. Ex: hero killer stain. Remember hero killer stain! We remember hero killer stain. He had such a deep message, despite his entire ideology being: too many heroes who not strong kill them. Ex: Oh no! What a tragedy! This person is going to kill a terrorist who killed a ton of innocent people. Let's stop him so that this person can go on to kill hundreds of more people, because murder is bad. I don't hate it because it's popular. I hate it because it's so damn cringey.
