What is Among us?
As you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone!
When a body is discovered you call a vote to decide who killed them! You can also call an emergency vote if you are suspicious. But becareful...it may lead to you getting sent out the air lock!

I have an idea for a modded Among us role; the marker; instead of the ringer idea this time it's a vet + reverse investigator style trap, stops you from dying when the triggered, "death" it'll show the person trying to interact on you as marked! They can't see it BUT all the other roles CAN see it! This way it's not annoying to combine bait + vet, AND stops you from dying! This way people don't know who marked them! It's an ingenious idea!

Why is swapper stil a good role it sjud at lest be neutral

neutral roles have to have some kind of win condition. too many neutral roles and it becomes less "imposters vs crew with deception and deduction" and "everyone out for themselves" kind of game where everybody poses a risk to each other. rn it's more of a mix. ie jester = voted out, executioner = vote someone out, phantom = complete tasks without being clicked, glitch = solo killer, arsonist = late game threat, vulture = eat 3 bodies. all of them are threats to each other, AND crew AND imposters. unless exe and jester become TOS-esque roles where the game doesn't end, but it's not like that yet. transporter and swapper are considered crew for winning purposes, because then (1) too many neutral roles, (2) have to think of some kind of win condition. neutral roles have some characteristics that help to uncover them and their win condition requires some risky plays: you can sus out a jester/exe in a meeting because of behavior, arso has to douse people, vulture - get to the actual bodies, phantom - not get clicked. but how do you sus out a swapper or a transporter, who just click a button? you could maybe have a transporter, idk, freeze in place and glow blue when using ability, but the game still has to determine they win somehow. do they transport five people and then the game ends? there's already arsonist and/or vulture who fulfill the same role. i'm sure i could think of a good win condition given some time (and i'm not even the dev), but the game becomes boring with too many neutrals to watch out for. that also makes sure swappers have to think about their actions more carefully than just throwing people out willy-nilly: they belong to crew and they win with crew, so most of the time it's preferable to others (and themselves) that they don't throw the game. sorry this got so long, i just see this question get asked a lot.
