The key to understanding the sensor log is, never closing the sensor log! You have to actively keep track of where they enter and where they leave and if you close it you lose if the person is coming in or going out.

Also I think it's easy to come up with nicknames for the different sensors so that you can simplify understanding it. For me southwest is A, north is B, and southeast is C. So when I try to keep track of people I'd go: "skadj, a to b, b to c, c to c, c to b" and that makes it easier for me to visualize where they go instead of having to get confused with southeast or southwest. It's also better to just rely on the diagram on the right and just the name rather than the description

Sensor almost only works in normal among us because only imposters can get around without tripping the same sensor twice. In these mods you have roles like the engineer and transporter which messes things ups. The only viable way to use the logs is to correlate it with the body location, and only if the body is in cafeteria or right next to the sensors because the rest of the map is too big.

Regarding sensors: "double sensors", or two of the same in a row is fine. Sensor doesn't show direction of travel, so for example of someone walks into Greenhouse, then leaves it, it will show 'North' twice. The 'Sus', sensor combo, I believe, should be tripping all 3 sensors in any order without a single double-back. That means they must have used a vent to bypass a sensor. However, with mods it gets more difficult, because of transporter, dispersion, and engineer.

Hey chilled, the sensors! The dots on the line and the colors coordinate to which part of the Y the person passed through. In theory, a bean would have to pass a sensor twice to walk in then out of a room and then over another sensor. Ze would walk from admin/O2/elec through north into center of Y then to cafe through the SE sensor, out of cafe then through the SE sensor again to the center of the Y.

On the other hand, you can somewhat accurately see who’s on what side with who given the lack of venting roles, unless transporter/escapist or engineer/demolitionist are a part of things. So you can narrow it down if you know how to read it and are the mystic (and if ppl kill in the y, the logs can pretty much straight up give away who the killer is)
