In my case they put some pressuregauge to the inlet and exit water evaporator pipe , can i use both of these pressuse data to calculate the flowrate ?

Question? for AHU to be properly working, in lay mans terns, does the flow of water through AHU coils have to be a faster flow rate or slower flow rate?

You will get a better heat transfer and thus better delta T (temperature difference) if its slower. If its too high the water will not change temperature as it flows through and so the chiller will operate inefficiently

@theengineeringmindset can you please help me understand what the purpose of a Flowmeter is on a Turbocor Chiller? A system i worked on had a flowmeter but no flow switch. Does the flowmeter control the ramping up and down of the compressor based on flow rate? Why would a system like this not just have a simple flow switch? Thanks in advance.

What would cause low water flow to a chiller barrel? I had a site where they usually run one pump, but it seemed like they are having water flow issues. Now the chiller would stay running if they run two pumps

The plate causes a restriction to the flow of water. In the direction of flow the water hitting the plate is at normal pipe pressure, as it passes through the plate the velocity increases, as velocity increases the pressure decreases.

The chart is not for a chiller but for the orifice plate. As I said in the video the chart is different for every orifice plate so you need to contact the manufacturer with the make and model nubmer

oil flows through it and creates a vacuum, this vacuum pulls in oil and refrigerant into the oil reserve
