I always considered it criminal that this song isn't consistently named as one of the greatest rock tunes of all time. Kudos to Chilliwack from the lower 48.

This is a song written by a young Chilliwack that was already difficult to sing in 1975, the fact that they were still even daring to attempt it so many years later, let alone pulling it off well, is commendable. I am 29 and feel like my voice is probably already beyond some of those notes.

Look up Bill doing it with Taylor James ,she sings the highs best recording of original out there
@CorinaFroese Жыл бұрын
All true. The original singer on the high ahh’s was Howard Froese, who also played guitar during this era of the band. Pretty spectacular singer and musician overall.

I had the great honour of doing a bit of a media blitz with Bill when I worked for A&M records in the 80s. This man is a role model for all men on how to behave and how to treat others. It was only 6 hours in a car together but that was the day I learned about dignity, compassion & loyalty

What an absolute delight to see such a great old act aging with grace. I'm so over rock stars who look like a caricature of their younger selves - way to just be yourselves guys. You sound great too :)

I saw them in the late 70's at Rideau Carleton race track in Ottawa Ontario Canada, they opened for the Eagles on they're Hotel California tour . They blew 35,000 minds away , we cheered for more they were fantastic !! However to no avail, due to the next act . I've been playing ( guitar 🎸) your music to this day , and will continue to do so , till I hit that big mattress in the sky Thanks guy's for all of the awesome tunes ❤

What a great tribute song to their fans. Most bands try writing a song like this but Fly at Night nails it perfectly. Most artists just say a big fake “I love you”, but Chilliwack makes you feel the love they have for their fans.

I find it very disheartening that with our vast collection of acclaimed Canadian musicians with their incredible songs? Canadian radio programming, in their infinite idiocy of how to perform their jobs, instead play the same freaking song until you literally scream in outrage and frustration. They are geniuses at only one thing. KILLING A GREAT SONG BY REPETITIVE PLAY. 💩😒😳😬
