For this plane, it's in the rules for P-30 class, any cross section of rubber that weighs ten grams max. For most free flight planes, the rubber should weigh 25-30% of the all up weight. The length is a little longer than the distance from the rear peg to the nose hook. You play with different cross sections of rubber based on trial and error. Example- one loop of 1/4" versus two loops of 1/8". The same cross section, but the 1/4" have a stronger motor run...
