Fascinating! I build and fly RC planes but have always wanted a fast glow powered boat as new building challenge. Here in the UK postage costs are just too high to get stuff from America, but this seems straightforward enough to scratch build from plans something with a similar construction method.

Search Cozy RC on KZbin. He scratch builds all his boats. Includes links in the description for his plans. He has a couple of F1 style tunnel hulls like this one. All his boats run really well...
