I love this song and the video for it breaks my heart because it’s only depicting two people who loved each other but, it was unacceptable to people who hate or don’t agree with their choices. THEIR CHOICES!!! Not yours. It has absolutely nothing to do with you…so don’t offend …just don’t listen to it. Simple as that! I have a trans child and these are my fears come to life. She’s gonna face so much opposition because of her choices and she knows that and is concerned about having to fight for it…that’s bravery to me!!! Cowards are the ones doing the awful things in reaction to something that had, again, nothing to do with them. I can’t sleep at night sometimes worrying about a similar situation happening to her. It’s not right for us to judge…that’s in God’s hands.
