Thanks bro, I really recommend it I love it! I have to say though it didn’t help as much as I was hoping with the aRacer. It feels snappier in lower gears and speeds and sounds a million times better but I still struggle on hills and what not. I’m gonna do a video on the aRacer soon too I 100% recommend you do this with that just to be safe

I haven't heard anything about a new one. I really hope they update the design cause its really terrible lol. Best fix for that I have found so far is the MNNTHBX jumper harness. I think it was like $20 but a world of difference. Well worth it

I actually do plan on making a video about how exactly I tune everything. Im new to a lot of this myself and don't want to put too much information that im not familiar enough with especially when it can be very damaging, such as a tune. Now that im more familiar with aRacer on both the phone and laptop I actually think im comfortable enough with sharing that information on this. It's very touchy though and I highly suggest if your doing anything more than intake and exhaust with a flash that you familiarize yourself with it as much as possible and also run a Sport D or use a phone mount with the aRacer app so you can monitor both engine temp and AFR

Ego boost im interested in the abs model, os the ecu diferent because of the abs or is the abs computer apart from the ecu?

I haven’t heard anything about that being different but I was wondering the same thing myself. I believe they’re the same if anything the harness may just be different. I’ll try and look into a little more to be sure and get back to you

They do and I 100% recommend going with theirs! I actually did that after learning about it and it’s a night and day difference from the quality of the Chimera harness lol. For what it’s worth I wanna say they updated it but the Mnnthbx is by far best on the market 🤙

Any idea - I got my chimera intake installed and did my DHM cam and DHM stage 2 ecu and got a check engine- engine runs perfect but it’s just the dang check engine light - any input would help

Are the front fenders flimsy after taking the air box off?

Yeah they definitely were a lot more flimsy and would move around a lot. However, tuning the Kitaco oil cooler fixes that. The mounting bracket for the cooler holds the fairings together and fixes the problem entirely. I have a video of installing the cooler but I’ve been having editing software problems the past couple months 😩 hopefully I’ll have it all figured out soon though

So my kit came with everything in the video but I would double check depending where you buy it from. I got mine from Amazon through Hard Racing and was about $150 more or less. I’ve seen some spots offer no filter, K&N filter or an SP filter I believe it was

You should’ve went with Man! in the box it’s a lot better intake and the wiring is way better himself on other 22 models grom! Plus a cleaner looked too

Honestly I love the mnnthbx intake and that company as a whole. I actually have that intake on my other Grom. Also after I made this video I swapped out the jumper harness with the mnnthbx one and had no issues with it since. However I actually prefer the look of the chimera only because you can see it coming out the side. The mnnthbx looks awesome especially with the way the bracket sits with the breather it’s just hard to see. Both are good choices, I think mnnthbx is better out of the two, but I’m currently running the Dingerbuilt intake which is newer and love it! I’m gonna do a video in the next few weeks going through the 3 intakes and they’re differences and which one is best to go with for everyone’s set ups. I feel like it can help a lot of people out

I just changed the exhaust and added the chimera it feels a little lean should I change the stock ecu?

It’s a really controversial topic, but I would advise either flash the ECU or run an aRacer with the intake and exhaust burn. Some say the 2022 doesn’t run lean on the stock ECU after putting an intake and exhaust on but previous years are known to and personally I wouldn’t risk it

Honestly you can’t hear a difference really at idle and not at all through a recording. At least not that I could really hear. It does have a throatier sound too it under throttle though, I like it
