So how do you explain Guru Stun instead of a Subterror mid-range version of a deck being played? They can even combo off with their link and Lithosagym etc but i've never seen anyone play that version. T.G. in the past instead of going synchro, it went stun. Lab can be interactive with Punishments, Daruma, Crusader etc but every event win was with the Stun version. It's all about the players. They just want to win (rightfully so). And if it's easier then all the better.

watchers bias. You've seen opponents hand and know what the ''correct'' play is based on information the lab player didnt have. Its also not even good for other reasons. The only deck you would shotgun erad in your own turn is like sky striker and even then its pushing it.

@@lightman9935 They shouldn't have used EEV. But since Ash is inevitable they could have gone for Big-W in their turn or even the field Spell. For Big-W they discard regular Welcome and try to get something like Daruma with Lady and lovely ripping 1 in hand. With field Spell they discard Eradicator and go for Welcome and Lovely reseting it, then in DP unless the opponent uses turn player priority they immediately activate it, and the field revives Lady. This is a prime example why EEV is overhyped and works only in already winning hands. They could have just ripped 1 card with Lovely on their turn, then if they hit anything but TTT (revealing a fusion deck) they just set-activate D-Barrier in DP with only one monster on the field. GG.

The only issue I have with labyrinth is Lovely's hand rip effect. The rest of the cards are fine for the game. Now on the other hand all the really toxic trap cards like skill drain Dim barrier and anti spell should go to hell.

The deck is super interactive except for D-Barrier. Even EEV is just luck you can hit 4-5 or nothing. But D-Barrier/DDG or even specialized stuff that doesn't see play yet (like Simul Archfiends vs a full link deck) are very toxic in nature but unfortunately needed. I went in Master Duel with Ishizu Bystial Labrynth (with tackle crusader) having NO EEV or D-Barrier and despite having Maxx C to reload on resources i couldn't climb to the top rank (Master 1) because decks like Tear or even earth piles just don't stop producing resources. We need more cards like Daruma to have back-and-forth games.

The salt at the start was warranted, blue acts like a good sport and overly positive and sportsmanlike when he just flips EEV for 4 in draw phase. "Phew, I really need to remember that super poly next time!" after pulling pretty much the most unfun "interaction" in the current game. Pretty cringe behavior, especially watchers chat.
