As a bangladeshi, im glad to see you guys trying our countrys meal! The biryani is mostly eaten at certain occasions. Like weddings, birthday parties etc. Or you could just make some at home if you're craving it. The chicken curry is mostly eaten with rice! The aloor chop is probably good for an evening snack or for a quick bite. The shawarma is also eaten for a quick bite or a snack! Hope to see you try more bangladeshi food or snacks ❤️

I think @Nirjhon is correct. In Bangldesh it's much more commonly called Birani, with the Y in the middle dropped. The Y is used in the hindi/urdu way of saying, just like they call Tea as Chay but in Bangla language, the Y is dropped and simply called Cha.
