The changes in the moods are very satisfying. You have a strong feel for the direction that the composition should take and your technique is excellent without being a focus of the piece. I appreciate your attention to the value of tone, rhythm and melody

In my opinion, Paul Ortiz is between the top 10 best guitar player/musician in the world. I have no doubts about it. It's a shame the average people don't get those masterpieces created by him.

He is my son. And biased as I may be, I agree with you. If we went by the average people on here or anywhere else on social media who just do not get it it would be sad, but he has a great fan base who keep an eye on what he is doing. He still composes stuff that brings me and his dad close to tears with emotion. Thank you for supporting him. Means a lot to us x

I hope someone can answer this question! I've figured out this whole song except for the heavy riff starting at about 2:28, which I just can't seem to get to sound right. I'm playing an RG1527 tuned to standard BEADGBE. As this riff goes on I am hearing varying notes that sound like they'd be played on an 8-string. Is Paul just playing single notes to a rhythm in this riff, and what I'm hearing is an illusion created by the bass guitar part?? Thanks!
