Love you work! It's the best inspiration for me to pick up an old hobby after nearly 20 years! (Small remark: Chimpanzee is spelled wrong in the title of the video) Looking forward to seeing more of your craftsmanship!

Hello, your work is beautiful. When modeling using different hardnesses ...... with that method? The soft clay for the draft, and that hard for details?
@Anthony-zc2lm2 жыл бұрын
Plasticine clay, you warm slightly before use and gets firmer as gets cold from high wax content

It really troubles me that some people struggle to see that chimps are our closest living relative. And their intelligence level for not understanding such a fact would prove it tenfold.

Bonjour, Vous travaillez en face d'un miroir, c'est pour vérifier la symétrie ?

Amazing! You have a very cool video! What substance do you use for smoothing of unevenness?

Hi Cyril! I enjoy watching you sculpt very much. Thanks for sharing your work. Do you find, like I do, that it's easier to work details on one side of the face or figure than another? If so, do you think it's because we as sculptors are all either right or left handed? I especially have difficulty with ears - one side easier to render than the other.

SkulpTools SkulpterAz may be, for me I know that I use to sculpt one side with some basic shape to see where I go, after I model the symetry with the same shapes before to smooth and add other level of shape for the details. may be and it's a good method for the ears, you could sculpt on front of a mirror to help you. if you sculpt the left ear, you could see the same sculpt on the mirror of the right ear if you see what I mean. ;) and if you notice, I put the clay with the left hand and use my tools with right hand...why I don't know! ;)

Hi there. I was just wondering what variation of Monster Clay are you using for your sculpts. Is it the medium or the hard? Your work is inspiring and amazing! Thank you!

Hi, thank you for your videos. Have you find MonsterClay better clay than Chavant? And why if so? Thank you for answer... I have only experience with Super Sculpey and was very suprised how sticky is Chavant compared to Sculpey...
@roquelainesculpt9 жыл бұрын
You put the finger on the big difference between nsp and monsterclay, monsterclay doesn t stick to tools or fingers...more wax, more like super sculpey but with all proprieties (in good or not) of the plastiline clay
@SkulpTools9 жыл бұрын
cyril roquelaine Except Monster clay and all waxes and plastiline must be molded to be made permanent, I believe. yes? Where Super Sculpey can become its own finished product - which is why I prefer polymer clay [cheaper to make finished products with]
@roquelainesculpt9 жыл бұрын
You right, but me I like to play with the different states of the clay, hard, soft and liquid, it s why I prefer plastiline for big scale, but you re right I have to mold the piece if I want to sell it.

wow! Im in awe once again! You've yet to let me down! You are amazing man! When you said the other day Essence #7, what is that and where do i find it? is it better than Zippo fluid? Is it cheaper?
@DavidJelsmaBanjo8 жыл бұрын
Sorry Essence F!
@roquelainesculpt8 жыл бұрын
+David Jelsma (Banjo) yes it s cheaper may be more powerfull, for the little detail I prefer zippo fluid, faster evaporated so less aggressiv. In france you find it anywhere, outside france I don t know, may be an other name
