Not only is laser cannon underwhelming, but so does it's visual design The laser projectile for the third tier looks really minimal, in BTD5 it had its own exclusive projectile, but at the moment it looks like a slower version of the 1-0-0 super that shoots half as much lasers

Ray of doom deals 40 damage a tick with 10 damage DOT, so effectively 50 damage a tick with the same fire speed as the 3xx. You would need 15 3-2-0 dartling gunners to almost match a 520 one and 18 to beat it. Each one is around 7k monies, so 15*7000. So no, it's hilariously less cost effective, costing 115k to get similar damage... And less pierce, since the ROD has 1000 pierce and the laser shot has... 4. Keep in mind, the ROD is only 95k, so you're spending 20k more gor less damage and less pierce. And way less accuracy.

I tried blade shooter spam recently and managed to black border cubism impoppable without any difficulty so I imagine it's possible on chips as well. They scale way better than I ever expected, especially with gwen giving +1 layer

Adding to that there is no knowledge in CHIMPS: If I'm not missing something, the unlock knowledge does not give extra DPS, it gives extra Swivel speed i.e. you can rotate the Dartling gunner faster.

I feel like mib+a buffing hero would go so much farther than a striker jones.. like, high level gwen would go so far vs buying two more laser cannons or $8000 of other support. Once she is high leveled, she is basically an alch that buffs all of your towers at once and can do so on demand, if needed, for like $1000

Can you send Ninja Kiwi your improvment wishes? Because on the mobile phone it is pretty annoying to handle the dartling gun and I want it to be, that this delay improvment is not an upgrade and instead it is always there. I like the 2-5-X Dartling gun, but I never use it because this delay. On the mobile version it is always annoying to control the units manual and thats why mobile player buy always purisut for the heli.
