I recently had chin filler for the first time about a month ago and I still can feel hard lumps on both sides and it just doesn’t look sharp but gives my chin a more “bulbous” appearance and I’m wondering if it’s still settling ? Or was it a botched filler job? Beautiful work!

HI!! I TRUST my esthetic technician, but (I mean and) he stuck the needle straight into the center of my chin FAR AND DEEP, it hurt n im waiting to see………………i did it yesterday, im just waiting to see the outcome and come to see the process and reason - thank you. Actually mine was stuck straight in and far one time - very deep and far. OH I SEE THE FIRST INJECTIONS HERE WERE NUMBING????? if you look closely, you can see that once the needle goes in she asperates first to make sure there is no blood pulled up, then she injects the filler. hope that helps :)

Branches of the submental artery should be considered a possible risk. Also, this is a poor example of aspirating, thick filler requires longer aspiration time, preferably minimum of ten seconds.

First time results are always pretty but what happens, when does filler dissolve?

According to recent studies on the subject, it does not appear that filler dissolves 100%. With time, it can accumulate too. Chin filler does look good and helps to balance the face on people with mild to moderate jaw recession. I would love to get it myself but I won't. I have too many concerns about how this may weigh down the jaw line in the mature patient over time and how this may add to a lax appearance. I wouldn't want to risk it.
