Travel with us from TAIPEI, home to MELBOURNE on China Airlines in business class! This was a 9.5hr direct flight and we were so grateful to be be able to stretch out on their Airbus A350 - such a beautiful aircraft! China Airlines is Taiwan's flagship carrier and its largest, we highly recommended this fantastic airline.
We paid a total of AUD$143 + 90,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points, each. This was a CLASSIC REWARD booking through QANTAS.

Awesome review! I am doing the exact same thing in 3 weeks time. Except Taipei->Brisbane. Same Qantas frequent flyer points and price as you!! haha. I've flown their premium economy before and this will be first time in business. Their business class looks amazing!!! So good we can use Qantas points with this airline now. 😎

Hello! They're codeshare/partner airlines. To redeem Qantas points on a China Airlines operated flight, you book through the Qantas website (Classic Reward option is by far the best value, never use Points + Pay). Let me know if you'd like further information 😀

Selecting seats - did you do that before hand, via china airlines website? Cant work out which ref number to get in. Trying this flight in a couple of months

Hi! I used my Qantas PNR on the China Airlines website to select these seats. I did this about 3 months before the flight. Its a great airline, you'll enjoy it!

Their carry-on is probably only the luggage (The black suitcase that you guys have). I don't think the bags count.

Oh yeah also the cord is use to hook on the North Face bag so the bag can be hooked and reused
