South China Sea is a vital route to China's survival, as 80%of China's goods & energies are delivered thru this Sea route. Establishing a military base in Singapore, and US freedom of navigations by its military fleets, US along with its QUAD members are controlling this Sea route. In view of these threatening threats, China are building these islands, turning them as military bases to defend this Sea routes in case of a war with US & it's Allies. China therefore have every reasons & rights to built up these islands for defences, especially with 800 US military bases, including those in Japan, South Korea, the phillipines and Australia.

Just one look at the timeline dating back to 5000 BC tells the world unmistakably which country was the only country around occupying and inhabiting the SCS islands whilst all the other recent claimants were greedily motivated by the recent news of rich oil discoveries!
