Well I saw CC when I was a teenager in the early mid 80's. It was my first concert. Now I'm passing the 50's and rediscovered their entire discography.

Listening to this song on a Sony Walkman many years ago with dreams in my head and hope in my heart. Like most people neither worked out: pity.

This song has done so much for me in life.. brought me friends and loved ones.. given me grief and lost loved ones.. I've shed tears of turmoil and laughter.. If I only knew how to properly interpret this magical tune to life itself then perhaps I would head in that better direction. Wish you all well. Love to all 😉👍🏻

This is emotion Emotion less war A torn shirt and a long dead cause I can't sleep This kind of thing gets me down Don't say walk I may lose my fear I could lose myself In this honesty I read all sorts of things There's so much to learn I've seen the hand that rushes in As it rush over you I could lose myself In this honesty "christian”

Fantastic after 30 years still sounding the same. And they both still look young too. They must be at least 50 if they're a day. Thanks for posting.

I think what made this song in the first place was the fretless bass and synth of the original. There is a great earlier live version on KZbin
@ralleBMG8 жыл бұрын
Love it
@haps411 жыл бұрын
The clarinet instead of the synth gives it a slightly different tone slows it down some what but still one of my favourite songs

Why doers the singer keep touching the mic, looking up, then down at the floor, then stepping back? It's very annoying. Good song, though.
@Hertogjejan8 жыл бұрын
Because thats the sort of thing you do when your playing or singing, he also has the set list or a prompter paper on the floor. I use them as does David Gilmour with Shine on you crazy Diamond ( Gilmour has played that song for over 40 years but still gets the lyric order wrong in his head)
