As a music arranger, this is really rudimentary (what we call "grade school") stuff. Annoying little repetitive guitar riff that is supposed to carry the entire long, boring intro - I DON'T THINK SO! Horrible! Sorry there CS fans. Just study with your "critical thinking" hats on.
