Metal K. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Have always loved China Crisis. Agreed, they never got their due here in the states. Great melodic pop tunes. Great hooks and excellent harmonies. Found them via Walter Becker, RIP. Thanks again Metal, you've really brightened an old man's day...and then some, sincerely.

Thank you so much for uploading this. And for keeping the bits in that Gary wanted omitted. Gary and Eddie crack me up 🤣🤣, like school kids again. I love it. I hope you had an amazing evening, they are pitch perfect, and the backing musicians are amazing too. I can’t believe we have all followed them for 40 years - I feel old 🤣🤣🤣, but they keep us young at heart 😊 Cherished memories indeed for all of us

Using backing tracks is a shame, a good drummer, and bass player is needed to make them sound like a band again, it's kinda embarrasing to hear a backing track that i actually used in the clubs and weddings years ago, and now by a fantastic band reduced to a tribute act playing in smaller venues like this.
@MetalKReactions Жыл бұрын
To be honest, how many people would actually support this band in America at this point in time? I was actually amazed they were touring in a somewhat limited capacity and happy they came to my town since this will probably be the only time this will happen at their stage of their careers. To bring a full band on their dime would be impossible. It was a great show for what it was...sure I would have loved to see a whole band and they would have sounded fuller, but I'm happy enough to hear them one last time live.
@tuxster1232 жыл бұрын
Wheres the band man,bass ,drums and whatever else on backing track ?? So sad,karaoke beckons,,, so absolutely poor 😔
@MetalKReactions2 жыл бұрын
They explain the cost of touring with a full band in today's climate for a band that wasn't that well known in the states. For them to even come over and do a tour is well appreciated in any manner since this may be the last time this happens so enjoy it while you can. The still sounded great under the circumstances.
@chrisbailey80742 жыл бұрын
@@MetalKReactions Completely agree. Wonderful 1980s group who still sound fantastic. It has always been centred on Gary and Eddie, but I love the way they mention Gazza, Kevin and Brian a number of times, and hugely acknowledge the skills of the two new musicians helping them out on this tour. Thank you again for sharing this online - what a fantastic gig to be at.
@amandalouise32532 жыл бұрын
Karaoke Not! Their voices are perfectly smooth and velvety. The two young musicians at this gig are amazing. I have seen them many times this year, and they do their best to accommodate as many musicians as feasible. At the Liverpool gig in February there was barely room for each band member to play, as there were so many on the stage. Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Interesting that the efforts of the musicians who were playing live should have passed you by. Perhaps you could front up the cash for a full band to come to the States in the future.
