That’s Rob’s drum tech, we were the opening band (Les Carlsen/Bloodgood) and the guys in Stryper been friends along time, before they went on Robert asked if I could get some shots of the drums that night I think we were in Portland? I did and made this for him, and decided to post for fun! But the drum tech was fun to watch every night lol, great Drum tech though, super fast in setting and changing heads he’s a good one! And for sure fun to watch behind Perry’s Bass rig lol! Glad some have enjoyed this, Robert is a gem, there all super sweet guys!

i met Robert after a show on the street in 2009.. it was me, my buddy and him walking down the street. He was going to his tour bus.. he was super chill & asked us how we think he sounded… a cool moment

he and tommy lee taught me my showmanship as a rock drummer in the 80's....man i love his power and at 55 people still tell me man you hit the drums hard..lol. yep i do..i met robert here in nashville at a show one night and what an awesome dude..his roadie back there looks like me at 15 watching mtv and playing couch drums....thanks for this vid..

No problem glad enjoyed! Rob wanted me to get some shots that night, cause our stage that night out the drums a little higher so I was able to position myself back stage in a good spot to get Rob playing! Rob is sweet heart, there all wonderful guys!

All Yamaha- 10, 12 , 14, 16, 18, 24 inch kicks all Yamaha custom, mix Piaste and Sabian.. but he was also talking at dinner he was gonna change his rig up again, he misses the chains for cymbals, so I know he been trying to figure a way to do that! Awesome sounding kit!
