Honestly, the rebrand could be a change in mission statements for the company. 😂 Like, their core values or what their purpose in the nail polish industry is. Rebranding is such a strange thing. Your video isn’t cringe; it’s awesome! I feel the same way you do about China Glaze. I love the name, and the bottle is iconic. I hope neither is changing. The name China Glaze comes from the fact that it used to be made with china clay. Unfortunately, they now say it is made with polymers, a disappointing change. I wonder if they are changing the name due to the switch in ingredients. I really hope not. Regardless of what’s in it, I used to think the name came from the resemblance to the glaze used on china. I still love that concept. If this is a possible clue to what’s happening, I saw a few bottles of existing CG shades at CVS that had the China Glaze logo in white instead of the usual black. I don’t know if that qualifies as a rebrand, or is enough for the company to cancel their new collections. It may take awhile, but we will find out eventually what’s going on. I just hope the brand we love is not going away.

omg literally was just looking at my bottle of ceramic glaze this morning, "im on island time" (beautiful bleached neon orangey with a hint of coral) wondering where tf i got it from and why its ceramic glaze and not china glaze and how i did i never notice this before in my collection (its my only bottle of ceramic glaze) but now that you say this it is the same label on the bottom as china glaze (the black one linry lol not white!) thank you @danievelyn3352 ! you solved the mystery lol (canadian shoppers girlie here too...well used to be lol ...and now a bottle of sally hansen is $18.49 !!! Ok so, I'm a graphic designer and I'm super picky about design and curently I hate China Glaze because there is way too much writing on their bottles! Too much clutter! What if they don't change their bottles or the name but they could do a graphic design revamp, cleaning up the writing on the front and maybe a logo redesign?
