Cremes (or creams) are my favorite types of polishes. I love when you show new collections that come out for each season. Like you, I wish the bottles would say “matte” or “jelly” on the bottles so we know exactly what we are buying. Great job.

Very few people are as neat and tidy as Kelli! And I say that as someone who got her cosmetology license in 1982 and was all but born in a beauty shop! (My mother and both of her parents were licensed cosmetologists when I was born-- in the hospital eight blocks away from the salon.) I've seen a TON of people apply nail polish over my 56 years and almost nobody can do nail after nail without at least flooding the occasional sidewall or cuticle once in a while. Kelli's hands are *very* stable. Even on days when my hands are behaving and stable, I have polish to clean up between coats, or before curing. I do have to add that I'm very -conscientious- anal retentive about getting the polish to within a millimeter away from the cuticles and sidewalls. I just can't bear naked nail sidewalls. It drives me crazy when it's on my hands, and so I know it bothers at least some others, as well.

I think the trick is not to start at the cuticle and swipe up, but to start a little way away, then move carefully down towards the cuticle (without touching it) before swiping up.

I am like you and I love creams for nail art or just base color to wear. I like this collection because it’s not all pastel colors and is so out of the box for spring. I like the fact that it has a mix of finishes. The names are so great too.

I love creme finishes too! As a biology major, I don't have a lot of free time to do nail art anymore (even though I love doing it) because nail art takes me AGES to do (don't even get me started if I decide to do nail art on BOTH hands! 😂). So creme polishes are always my go-to for beautiful color that doesn't take me a forever to apply. Plus, there's just something about a smooth, glossy, opaque creme that is just 👌👌👌

My favs are Lavenduh, the toppers and the greenish Blossom one. The bronze one is so Fall/winter - it boggles my mind to see it in a spring grouping. I love China Glaze polish. I’ll be getting these! I totally agree with you here. I love China Glaze, have from the very start of my polish obsession, but I'm not so pumped about this collection. Good morning lady! Ok, my fave type of nail color is between a matte and I love a good jelly. As far as creams go it's not that I do not like them but I have ALWAYS had an issue with applying creams and they ALWAYS end up WITH STREAKS THROUGH OUT 😖☹😟 So maybe you could do a video on how to work with creams and kinda the pros and cons of creams??? Let me know what you think/feel on that one. Anywhoo..... as for this collection as a whole my least fave was the coppery/brownish color and I usually like a good brown hut this one was just horrendous! My fave color was actually a tie between the matte peachy/pink and the 1st green. Sorry....I'm horrible with color names and once I start typing I cant go back back and look or I'll loose everything I've typed out so, there ya go....lol!! Yeah my favorite go-to polishes are always going to be creams. I admittedly still love glitters, but I have to be in a specific mood to want to wear them lol. I LOOOOVE me a deep colored cream polish! ORLY's deep and pastel creams are my favs. But if i want bright colors, glitters, duo-cromes, ect I go for China Glaze. Hmmm...Thank you for your thoughtful review. I think I'll take a pass. The OPI spring Tokyo collection is outstanding. Based on your recommendations, I picked up How Does Your Zen Garden Grow? and Tempura-ture is Rising-and love them. I did get an idea from this review to use a CG color that I'm in love with (a pale leaf green shimmer) as a topper over black. P.S. I'm watching your swatch videos tonight because I find them soothing. My dog died this morning and it's been a rough day.

I absolutely LOVE this whole collection except the "What's Up Bittercups", which I think is supposed to say "What's up Buttercup" (much cuter name). I HATE a collection with just one kind of polish. The cohesiveness comes from the names (flowers) and the different colors of the flowers. I personally love sheer polishes too and I'm not much of a fan of one-coaters because they seem to be so darn thick and don't self-level as well. I admittedly don't have as much experience with polish as you do though. :) It just goes to show we all have different taste. Thank you for all your hard work with swatch & reviews of collections! I loved this collection! I think why I liked it is because it's so eclectic--the color range is all over the place. Like Kelli said, there's something here for everyone. Personally, I have all but two of these, the toppers. I agree with Kelli, I wish China Glaze would announce which ones are mattes and jellies. I'm not a fan of either. If I'd known I wouldn't have bought Senora Flora, Saved By The Bluebell, and There She Rose Again. Anyways, that leaves seven polishes that I love; I'm wearing Show Em Who's Blossom right now. China Glaze is definitely my favorite mainstream brand! Good as Marigold is definitely the best one of this collection, but I also like I Still Beleaf and Senora Flora. The toppers are pretty too. You're right about their brushes. They're my favorite for my disproportionately tiny nails. I also agree this isn't their best collection. Not terrible. But nothing that exciting either. It's funny, because even though I live for glitter, I gravitate to cream polishes. I like lots of color, and I feel like creams show it off the best, plus they're so versatile and easy to change with toppers.

I don't like this collection. I find it boring lol. Then again I'm not a huge China Glaze fan. I like the brand and I do own several polishes from the brand, but it's probably my least favorite mainstream. Unless they come out with some more indiesque polishes I probably won't buy anymore China Glaze. I agree the colors are not cohesive. The pastels are too light and watery looking, there are too many shimmery topper type polishes....weren't there two if I'm not mistaken? And I couldn't tell them apart. Or maybe one of the so called, shimmer toppers was that bronzie, goldie, brownish nonsense that you didn't like with your skin tone. I can't picture that nondescript color working with anyone's skin tone. And personally I don't like cheddar cheese shades like Good as Marigold. Nope this entire collection is a fail for me.

I agree with you, it is kind of a strange collection and disappointing that so many of them needed three coats. For me China Glaze is a bit more expensive of a polish and I've been lured in and disappointed by their colors before. I think if your going to spend 9.50 or whatever the price is, a cream color should be opaque. Know what I mean? It's such a hassle to have to do three coats. My favorite colors we're the lavender and the lightest blue, but I wouldn't buy them knowing they are three coaters. I might try the peach matte or the jelly blue though. Thanks for the review!

Saved by the Bluebell is a dupe for China Glaze Ride the Waves. Do you hate it when you put a colour on that people have talked about for years and it's awful. I did that with Zoya Daul yesterday. Such a waste of time. And there's many more. Also, I had a gorgeous Llarowe colour call Connie You Saucy Minx (it was in your face purple) and the purpleness has just gone. Anyone else have the same problem. If you have that colour on your shelf you best go check it out. It's my only colour that's totally faded on me .

I enjoy that they are different finishes. Esp venturing out with the toppers. That being said I'm normally a cream person, bc nice end result and nail art. But lately been thinking of doing pond nails to use some of my glitter toppers. And actually need some nice jellys. So regardless of all the strangeness of this variety collection, timing wise this is spot on for me.... With that said, it makes the title of the collection that much more punny, lol. Hey, Caramel Voice Girl! 😉 Creams are my favorite, go-to formula. My nails are about the same length and shape as yours, (otherwise, the resemblance ends 😂) and I only use gel to avoid picking it off 🤭 I generally keep them fairly neutral, but I’ll go a little wild on my toes. I love OPI’s Yoga-Ta Get This Blue. I wanted to love Russian Navy, but never could. Here’s a question that I’d love to ask everybody- Am I the only person that does not like matte lipstick? It’s like I woke up one day and there was nothing but matte! 💄💋

My DIL loves creams, and I've started using some due to her influence. I'm a sheer or sheer with shimmer person myself but that seems to be changing. BTW - when I say 'shimmer' that's not the same as pearlized to me. As a boomer, pearlized polishes did and do scream 'old lady' to me - unless on someone quite young. So, they are nice for you and for the DIL - not me.

I want to see that “Better Late than Nectar” over that matte pinky color. I’m so curious if it would look good or be boring as hell. Lol My favorite finish is jelly. I love the squishiness. As for cream polishes, I have a love/hate relationship with them. I feel like the chip faster, or they show the chips faster. Also the cuticle line has to be pretty perfect and even with a clean up brush I cannot get that perfect line as I have fine motor issues due to a neurological disease. So I love how they look when other people paint them but when I do, I hate it the whole 3-4 days it’s on my nails.

I bought Senora Flora but the formula seems quite thick and gloopy to me and hard to apply evenly. Any tips? Love the colour just struggling to get an even application with the matte finish :)

Maybe a couple drops of nail polish thinner would help! It wouldn't affect the matte finish!

I hate this collection. I'm so dissapointed because I love creams and mattes. I'm so sad! Cirque colors killed their spring collection. So unique and gorgeous!!! Those colors though 😍

I love this collection! I already purchased most of them however I don’t care for lavender nor periwinkle colors. The toppers are beautiful and the jellies are great! Otherwise I like the different colors and finishes as a whole. ☺️ Plus some of the colors I could use in the Autumn too!

I love cremes and mats. I wish there was a list of mat polishes, by make and color name so I would easily be able to find them w/o frustration. The "What's Up Bittercups reminds me of a cup of weak coffee from a can!

You could always get a matte top coat so you can mattify any creme!!

I really didn't like the "autumn" colors they included in this spring collection like "I still beleaf", the blue and the copper color. You are right, this collection was all over the place 😩 although I did end buying almost all the collection 😅.

Love the greens and the last topper but as a whole I agree with you, I don't think this collection works as a whole. The purple is very pretty but 3 coats 😢. Anyway green and purple are my favorite colors so kinda of a no brainer but the marigold is really pretty too.

I love this video! I also love cream finishes. I am just now wanting to try jellies..for spring sandwiches. I really like some polishes and names however there are too many polishes in this collection that I would not use, to spend money on purchasing the entire collection. However if it was not for your videos I would not know this...so...Thanks again for what you do.

Cremes- especially neons- are my favourites. They look amazing matte which is my preferred finish! (I don't see the point in brands making polish with a matte or glossy finish though- surely everyone wears topcoat?)

Those toppers look really nice ! Love the names, but the colors arent my jam. For some reason I only like China Glaze for my toes (Pool Party is the best). Formula never lasts on my fingers :-/

i agree! there is no cohesion between these colors. there were only 2 colors i enjoyed and they weren't unique. but i DO think spring is the hardest season for polish. summer, fall, winter are all a lot more obvious with the color selections. spring is what. pastels? boo hiss. thanks for the video! have a good week!

My favorite polishes are creme polishes I like that they are versatile versus a glitter or Holo. I don't mind if it has a sutble shimmer or reflect, but generally just a creme polishes girl. French manicures/natural/neutral nail colors are my favorite.

Like Wildflower Hour as a topper over almost anything and especially to save for Fall and Winter over darker colors. Other than that one, nothing really caught my interest enough to make a purchase.

Yes, half of these look like fall shades. As a pink queen, I do get tired of the same pink colors over and over again. This one here looks just like Rich & Famous from a couple of years ago.

Bluebell looks like that classic real bluebell flower color. I don't see much in this collection that I really don't already have or very similar too, or would really want. I love creams and jellies because you can always throw a topper on it to get the effect of something else.

The senora one was the only one I liked honestly. I’m not a fan of jellies or sheer colors. I like creams and glitters. But even then I only really like glitters done by Finger Paint cause they know how to do a good thick glitter.

I agree with your opinion on the collection. Even if I like the color, I'd rather do my nails in 2 coats than 3, and with most of the collection the polishes were too sheer for my personal taste. It's too much work for me lol.

Most of my polishes are creams but I also like holos and shimmers. What I don’t care for are most multichrome flakies, they just get too busy on my nails for my taste.
