Protests are useless. The Chinese claims is more realistic. Arunachal was part of Qing Empire during era of British India. British illegally drew a line without consulting with neighboring nations and declared it inside India. China has been openly rejecting the border lines made by British since the beginning. Even in UN, India won't be able to prove shit. That's the ground reality. Even Taiwan opposed India in 1987 when Arunachal was given statehood by India. They too claim Arunachal as part of China.
