The Americans will state there are the fastest yet they cannot reproduce the SR71. The Foxhound Mig 31 flies at 2.8 and high and is a regular aircraft of the Russian Air Force with approx 100 in service. The next next version Mig 41 could be mach 3 or even 4 but has yet to be seen.

If this is real, it will revolutionize air travel as commercial jet aircraft speeds have not improved by much over the last 40 years apart form the now discontinued SST Concord. If it is just "hype" and not real, who cares about such videos as they are inconsequential and just a waste of time to be even discussing about them. Far better to just wait and see what developments come out of it and if there is none, we will know that it is all just hubris and fake news and the best move to take is to unsubscribe from the channel.
