You know the youth unemployment rate is climbing up to 40% in China?
@JohnnysCafe_
@JohnnysCafe_ 9 ай бұрын
@@chinadollfmd isn't that exaggerated number and over the past few years the government is bringing it down. the youth can walk around anytime of the day, never fear of crime. China had massive problems to deal with and it worked to raise 800 million out of poverty and into prosperity, no government has ever done so much for it's people and you look for the bad, that will be sorted, 1.4 billion people and from a poor nation to the strongest economy on the planet and you look for the one problem, the problem that is being remedied at the moment. I get when I see people who can not see the countless good topics and only look for bad. mention any nation and I guarantee I can mention worse problems than youth unemployment.

5000 years of Chinese warring states history has taught the Chinese the importance of communal society over individualistic society. Without a peaceful country, there is no family and without family, there is no self. So country and community based society come first before self. This is a lesson learned from its history. A country based on individual rights and freedom of speech creates divide due to different ideologies and way of life. The LGBT, transgender, binary issues and pronounce etc are so rampant in US and western societies that now became the greatest divide of all times. Every society needs democracy but it must always operate within the legal boundaries and law of each country for peace and prosperity sake.

you forgot to mention that china is more culturally and ethnically homogenous , as the majority are han chinese with other ethnicities living on the fringes of the rest of the country. america and the west promotes the idea of multiculturalism which is a failed and disasterous model that can never work. the french model of assimilating all people into a single culture is much better but even the french today are failing to keep up as they get a lot of immigrants and they are allowing them to live in parallel societies and ghettos instead of assimilate. the chinese understood that concept long ago since qin dynasty , much like the french revolution , a nation can only thrive if united as one under heaven, one central culture one central ethnicity and one central authority .

@@verandi3882are you Chinese? Do u know there are 56 ethnic minorities in China and they each have their own "Autonomous regions" to govern as they please as long as they remain a part of China? They are not living on the "fringe" of Chinese society. They get benefits for being a minority that the majority Han Chinese do not get. Even hk and Macao are "Autonomous", so will Taiwan.

I have been an expatriate in China and Singapore. Both of them have a similar philosophy in administration. As a result, their societies are safe, harmonious, equal and prosperous. People always say there’s a lack of freedom in China, I would say in terms of freedom, China has more freedom than in Singapore. For example, chewing gums are not allowed in Singapore. Law enforcement in the streets are more lenient in China, there’s more room for reasoning and compromise between the two sides, rather than rigid like 1 or 0.

Can't compare China and Singapore. Both government are using conspiracy methods to control the society but Singapore government have much deeper considerations and philosophy behind their policy making process. They intentionally made chewing gums illegal to obtain some effects to other aspects. For example, if a foreign visitor knows from news that Singapore is so strict in laws that even chewing gums is not allowed, when they visit Singapore, they would be more behaved, then the Singapore govt will have less troubles to handle those wild visitors. On the contrary, China government is very very primitive.

@@EkantBhairabhaving "studied" geopolitics for 4yrs now, let us all get this straight to our heads: western "democracy" is actually just capitalism where the capitalists uber rich are in power, with their stooges the so called "politicians" and this arrangement always goes hand in hand with bribery aka "lobbying". The population of clowns can "vote" for a special stooge clown to be in office but they can't control what he does once in office. But like Putin says, it doesn't matter who is in office bcs there will be a bunch of men in black suits who comes in and tell the "president" "this is how things will be done"... Compare this with China's new "whole process democracy" where the population of clowns can all vote to approve or disapprove a new law simply by getting online with their ID, even though they can't vote in their politicians (voted by political peers supposedly based on merit)

Oh, Harvey's. Welcome to the spotlight, and you should expect to take the stick coming towards you when you compare China to the US or the UK. As a fellow KZbinr, I am used to such challenging comments, but be careful when doing this type of video. Maybe, I will suggest you should back your argument with some visuals. As for education, I prefer the education system in the UK for kids due to the less stressful environment. Right now, my three younger brothers are on summer break with a lot of spare time to enjoy their childhood. However, some of your other points are valid cause I have been going in and out of Asia since 2018 hence why I can't wait to move back to Asia due to the unstable situation in the West which is getting worst and worst but most people in the West hate China even if you try to show them the positive side. Anyways, stay blessed and see you soon China.

@9:20, China has several bike sharing business. Their bikes are distributed throughout a major city in a mini self-service kiosk. Renters pickup and drop-off their rented bikes at any number of kiosk. Customer merely scan a QR code to pay and register to complete bike rental transaction. The entire bike rental business model works in China because the customers don’t vandalize or steal the bikes, and customers return the bike rental to the nearby kiosk so other customers can quickly find a rental bike. Bike rental business can never work in USA for obvious reasons.

Hi Harvey, the Chinese collective social good & civic consciousness is encompasses in the Chinese word for country, 国家。The existence of a state / country needs to be supported by families / homes. Without a state / country there will be no families / homes. Hence, the underlying fundamental philosophy and requirements is there have to be peace and stability in a country then u could raise your family and make progress otherwise there will be unrest & civil wars. On the other hand, if it’s people tare unable to make ends meet, there’s social unrest with crimes and always at loggerheads with its govt, the country will just breakdown and destroyed.

i disagree on the thing with schools, the problem with american and british schools isnt a lack of strictness its a lack of founding and an abundance of racism, also the system (especially in america) is set up specifically to fail low income people, more strictness isnt gonna help with shit curriculum and underpaid and under qualified teachers either. i dont think whats driving chinas good results in this area is the strictness, its a false dichotomy

earn dollar spend dollar, earn CNY, speend CNY, a bottle of Coca Cola is 0.5 dollar(3.5 CNY) in China. And the average income data is totally wrong, the data is from China Tax System, and about half of Chinese do not do the tax declaration, government allow them to do so to inspire basic economy, and in tax system they have zero income. It's hard to hire a people to dish wash for 500 dollar in China indeed, part-time worker maybe can hire, in my estimation, I think maybe the true average is about 600-800 dollar.

I have sympathy for some westerners, particularly white people from South Africa. Originally, in South Africa, if the society are purely white people in majority, they will be even more civilized , behaved, enterprising and getting higher education than the Chinese people. But can the West go back to pure white people society? like China or Japan, one race of people are in majority such that they are more united because of same culture, language, traditions and feeling more closed to each other? It's impossible to go back. And it should not go back to pure one race society.

Some things you may not have known about China: #1. Chinese people are deeply influenced by Confucian culture, so they tend to be for the community and obey orders rather than stand up for individual rights. #2. China uses its own network and all media is controlled by the state, so all information about the outside world or bad news about China is censored. #3. All citizens are counted citizen points, everyone's information is stored and monitored daily through millions of cameras #4. Chinese education promotes nationalism, all for the sake of the nation, but they do not forget to tell about war crimes committed by fascist Japan and Western countries. China has always had the ambition to become the world's leading superpower and has been promoting it since the time of President Xi Jinping #5. Since there is only one party in the country, the Chinese have been very successful with 10, 20 year projects. They hid themselves well in the 1980s and showed the West that they were completely harmless. After more than 40 years China has risen strongly with many fields leading the world - This is admirable I am Vietnamese - China's neighbor country and I know the Chinese best

@@tingyu4957 It can be said simply that current life is dominated by real life and virtual life on social networks. The whole world is completely ruled by it. But in China all big influence companies have to go through government approval for Personal Data so it is easy for your Government to control public opinion and prevent bad news. The positive side is that it is very difficult to terrorize or break the law in China, but it also separates a part of China from the world. ChatGPT is a new technology the world is using and all of those things are banned in China for fear of people accessing information that is not intended by the government. It is also very difficult for foreigners to access Chinese information. You are surrounded by censored information and we are still fully hearing both good and bad news about our government.
