Wow, China has shown the prototype of the Shenyang J50 , a two engines 6th generation stealth supersonic jet fighter. China's J50 has a canard configuration without a vertical nor horizontal tail stabilizers. The canard stabilizer infront of the wing gives a better stealth characteristics and a faster response to rolling motion around the axis. China's capability to produce two 6th generation stealth supersonic jet fighters at the same time gives a tremendous impression of its prowess and productivity in building top jet fighters surpassing the usa by far.

As of current knowledge, no Chinese fighter jet has been confirmed to have seen combat in a real war scenario, but the Chengdu J-20 is considered China's most advanced fighter and is the one most likely to be deployed in combat if needed, although it has not been reported to have engaged in actual combat yet;. The J-20 is faster than the F-35 but the Lightning II has lower radar cross-section. The J-20 does not have a cannon which could mean that designers were not envisioning it as a dogfighting machine. J-20 does not necessarily have worse stealth, while its frontal stealth is indeed worse, its length and edge sweep is higher than the F-35, allowing for a larger frontal stealth cone compared to the F-35. furthermore the F-35, largely due to its small size, suffers heavily from resonance at lower band radars, making them much more detectable than the J-20, which may be a significant factor as more low band radars are put into service such as on the WZ-9 drone.

That is not J-50... It will be a JX-XX because it's from Shenyang, but no serial number revealed yet. The Chengdu one is JX-36 due to the serial number 36011 (Aircraft 36, 11th unit built) is readable on the body of the aircraft, and both aircraft has passed their Prototype Yellow phase and received their Aviation Grey colour.

Looks like China is in a hurry as B-21 already entered initial production since January and can also carry air-to-air missiles besides being a stealth bomber. And with F-35s outnumbering J-20 3 or 4 to 1 with around 600 in US arsenal while J-20 is also proven to be less stealthy than F-35. So will China's 2 new 6th gen balance out or even surpass US advantage only time will tell.

Look closer at that shot of the second alleged “6th Gen” aircraft. Contrary to the claims it is tailless, and the fanciful artist’s drawings of what it supposedly looks like from above, that photo from below it clearly shows a pair of stabilizers, widely-spaced and steeply canted outwards, very much like the U.S. YF-23. What appears to be a sharp angle in the trailing edge of the wing when viewed from below is actually the stabilizers extending behind the wing. So that indicates they’re already lying about it being tailless, a major difference in its stealthiness. What else are they lying about? The CCP are far more skilled at producing propaganda than they are at building competitive aircraft. Also note the black smoke trail from the exhaust. Modern fighters haven’t produced visible smoke since at least the mid-1970s. The CCP is even farther behind in engine design than they are in stealth development. That smoke wouldn’t even pass muster as a credible 4th Gen fighter, much less 5th or 6th.
