If DeepSeek R1 helps build an open source global platform for collective terrestrial intelligence, CTI, I'm all for it. We need the ability to merge, deduplicate, fact check, and aggregate the knowledge and sentiment expressed in public conversations with billions of people around the world.

With the current economy I’m close to retirement and worried about inflation and market volatility affecting my savings.

It’s ideal to discuss with a licensed advisor for anything related to economic forecasts, but my best guess is that sectors like healthcare and utilities might hold up better in 2025, especially for retirees.
@Robby7677 күн бұрын
Straight up, I’m in line with having an advisor oversee my retirement planning because my job doesn’t permit me the time to analyze economic trends myself. Thankfully, my portfolio has been stable despite the recent market swings, and I’m on track to retire comfortably. Thankfully, my portfolio has 3X in 1 year, summing up nearly $2.5m as of today

This is huge! Mind revealing info about your advisor here, please? I’m in dire need of proper guidance on how to adjust my retirement strategy for 2025. .

I’ve stuck with "Peter Dewitt Martin" since the COVID-crash of 2020, and his performance has been impressive to date. He’s quite renowned in his field with over 10 years of experience, and with his free consultations, I say it’s a sure yes.

Property is a western mindset, most people already have a house and paid off
@wyz98154 күн бұрын
You can never " pay off " the land, property taxes are life long and pass to next generation despite you have "pay off" all money owned by the bank. In China, once you pay off your mortgage, the house is your for next 70 years and renew with small fees after that.
