The tranquil countryside and villages is truly diverse and beautiful. Life is characterized by simplicity and a close connection to nature.The people are content with what they have in life. This way of life has been passed down through generations, preserving a deep sense of tradition and continuity. Many people find happiness in the simple pleasures of life-family gatherings, local cuisine, and the beauty of their natural surroundings. This perspective emphasizes the value of inner peace and fulfillment over material wealth. This is CHINA.

Trust me thse farmers have an extremely difficult life and would want to get out of their environment if they could. You woud not want to live the back breakling life style they are living. and doing laborius work morning to night to make just a subsistence life. Educate yourself about the "Hukou" system, where you are stuck to the land you were born in and just can't pick up and move somewhere to improve your life. Hukou is a system of household registration used in mainland China. The system itself is more properly called "huji", and has origins in ancient China; hukou is the registration of an individual in the system. If you move to say Beijing or Shenzhen, you can't get a job unless it is off the books. Then, if you have childen, you can't register your you children in another city.

@@JasonVu-h7tThe lady farmer that Yan stopped to talk to and who made Yan the beautiful wheat stalk ornament didn’t seem unhappy! She was friendly and full of smiles! She said she had travelled to Anhui, Beijing. Sure country farmers in the old days may have backbreaking lives. But these days, i don’t think they are as impoverished. China’s rural people who live in such beautiful countryside can thrive with tourism. Look at the luxurious hotel Yan stayed at 1450 yuan a night is not a cheap price. The rural proprietors must have progressed with the times of China prosperity!

People in China can move freely to any where in China if they can afford it.
@JasonVu-h7t6 ай бұрын
@@daniel2k2 Under the Hukou system, people were either urban or rural residents and were expected to live and die in the same locale. This restricted internal migration prevented those living in rural regions from migrating to urban areas in search of employment. The Chinese Communist Party came up with this system to restrict movement for employment.

@@JasonVu-h7t I am Chinese. Do you know what you are saying? Is this all from your imagination? Who told you that? Great video. Very excited to see you get off the main tourist track to visit 维西. I was there 14 years ago in 2010. At that time there was no road to 达摩 temple, so my friends and I hiked there by foot. We didn't know how to get there and got lost on the mountain, but then we found a bunch of Tibetan ladies and followed them to the temple. We spent the night in the temple with the monks. Very memorable experience. I haven't been to the Songstam hotel in Weixi, but I stayed at the ones in Cizhong and Deqin. They are all exquisite. Which route are you going to follow next? I highly recommend you go to the 澜沧江 valley and stop in Cizhong, then go to 梅里雪山 and 雨崩村 before you enter Tibet. Of course, 怒江 is amazing too, and there is a new road over the 碧罗雪山 from Cizhong to 迪麻洛, but that's quite far from your route to Tibet so I'm not sure if you'll be going that way or not.
