Many Westerners think that Chinese people are atheists. In fact, there is no concept of superiority in Chinese culture. 1,200 years ago, Chinese people had already completed the concept of equality for all. 1,200 years ago, the aristocratic families that had been passed down for thousands of years in China had been overthrown. Therefore, China emphasizes the concept of equality. Everyone has his own use. The role of each chess piece in Go is the same, and there is no distinction between high and low, strong and weak. 2,000 years ago, Chinese farmers shouted a sentence. This sentence represents the inner spirit of the Chinese people. Why has civilization not been interrupted for thousands of years? Are emperors and generals of different species?

I have followed Mr Sawhney for a while now. I may be getting ahead of myself with my optimism, but I seem to detect a willingness, or perhaps an inclination, from Mr Sawhney to take amore balanced view of China's security views and concerns, viz-a-viz India, and maybe the rest of the World. I am pretty certain Mr Sawhney is NOT one of those Indian Nationalist fanatics who will smear and condemn China at every opportunity. Indeed, it is reasonable that Mr Sawhney takes the Indian perspective and side with India's thinking if disagreements arise between Inda and China. But a good strategist sees past the momentary frictions, and focuses on building a monotonically improving trend in relations between the two countries. There's really very little reason for China to want to stir trouble with India militarily. It simply makes no sense. China's motivations is for cooperation and mutual security. I never understood India's territorial contentions on the Chinese border. Just look at the Russia-China border. It is 6-7 times longer, and Russia today possesses 20 times more Chinese territory (through China's century of humiliation in the Late-Qing dynasty) than is contested by India. Yet, look at the relationship between Russia and China these past 10 years. Does China take the position of territorial expansion? It isn't even actively trying to take-back territory it lost (by coercion or unequal treaties) to Russia. And today's China has both economic might and military capabilities to press the issue with Russia, not to mention Russia's current preoccupation with its Western borders with NATO. And the Indians insist on thinking the Chinese are trying to bully them for Aksai-chin? Really? It is beyond clear that the Chinese does not want conflict on its borders. China is not going to lose any more territory, and woe befall any country trying to perpetrate such an outcome (not even a sandy reef in the South China Sea). But territorial expansion or land-grab as a Chinese goal simply doesn't stand up to serious thinking.

As an exporter, I can assure you that every exporter and importer can make its saving at least double with such rail link beside transit time will be reduced from average 30 days to just 7 days. Same way, Indian energy imports like crude and natural gas can be brought through pipeline which agreements were signed several years before with Iran and Turkmanistan which were halted due to uncle Sam badmash gun boat diplomacy.

India must resolve all out standing issues with both Pakistan and China and move towards development for the benefit of its citizens. Western hegemony is over losing both wars in Ukraine and Gaza is sign of new world order.

The problem is India who wishes to be accepted for more than what she is able to contribute and in trying to leverage its importance, seeking the US to boost her perceived inadequacy.

Good analysis Mr. Sawhney. I hope Mr. Jaishanakr and Mr. Modi's cronies in Delhi realize sooner than later that Pakistanis are a reality and can not be disregarded as a credible military power in the region. India must come out of the delusion of grandiose syndrome to actualize its potential, otherwise, she may not get the respect on international forums.
