The Chinese poor are probably doing a far better job at making a livable city than nations with comparable incomes do. The only thing that I am not crazy about is that vegetables are literally laying on the street with only a thin plastic sheet between the pavement and the produce. I feel like a short table or stand is not an extravagant expense in that situation.
