Crazy streets in China, I can't imagine that this is Chongqing, a big city in China.

I enjoyed this video. Long ago I married a beautiful and SMART tall Chinese beauty. We've had a great life, two kids, she realized The American Dream, and now I thank the Lord above for our great and growing success and happiness. She's a Buddhist, which I respect. In older age, everything is going better and better. I really do admire the Chinese people.

I didn't know what this video is about until i clicked it, and I dont have the heart to go on. For those of you who have ever held a baby girl daughter, remember the nights when we shower our little heart with prayers? these women were once those little baby girls, you'll never know what the future holds, life is unkind, what you saw here is probably the women's last refuge after they have tried everything they could, the last thing they have is their dignity, and they have to sell it too...maybe for their little ones at home, can you imagine? Do you have a heart? so have some respect..

yeah, this is like Shanghai when I was growing up. China is still mostly a relatively poor and underdeveloped country, despite all the government propaganda want you to believe. Over all, the average Chinese income and life style is the same as in Mexico. My family was fortunate being intellectuals and able to get into western universities.

So visit the downtown area of almost any big city in south East Asia. What I see here is mostly people going about their daily lives, the shops and markets are full of fresh fruit vegetables and meat even if not hygienically packaged by western standards. I see signs of furtive sex workers but nothing like what you see openly on the street in many US cities (eg LA Figueroa Street). Or Manila. Or Saigon. They make Chongqing look wholesome.

Indeed, just a typical Asian city outside the fancy business, entertainment and touristical areas. Asia as it really is, no facades but with real people, real food ( love it! ), real temples and real shops for everyday life. I really like that, never been to China but certainly will do so one day.
