Chinese's GPS is not named "Baidu" but "Beido" which meant the major 7 stars in constellation of "Ursa Major". These 7 starts formed a shape of ancient Chinese compass (or ladle) which always pointed out the north direction.

No, it's not named "Beido" either, it's named "BeiDou". Please check your facts.

China's drive to make space exploration more economical will dominate the industry. If the LM-9 becomes a reality, I doubt the LM-9 will remain top dog for long. The US had the Saturn V rockets that dominated the industry until the Soviet Union gave up. However, I'm more interested in their EM catapult launched space shuttle / plane (forgot it's name) project.

yes the Long March 9 concept is one massive rocket, and it is certainly better than anything Europe has (planed). But at the same time far behind SpaceX current plans. It also does not look half as achievable. The animation with the lower stage + boosters returning to earth makes little sense. If you have boosters you would drop them as refurbishing solid rocket boosters is not cost efficient and returning them means your rocket is now about twice as heavy so a lot harder to land. Specially since you showed the SRBs detaching at 3:36. In general SRBs make no sense on a reusable lower stage. This btw is the reason ULA is only recovering the engines (if it works) and not the rest of the lower stage as their use of SRBs makes recovery impractical. Chinas concept for the LM9 (or correctly CZ9) is modeled heavily on Starship. They basically try to copy as much as they can. If they develop an expendable version first with the boosters they gonna have a hard time adopting that to reusability. Thus i really question their timeline. The SpaceX Starship only makes sense if they get orbital refueling to work. In general, the pictures/videos you show have very little to do with what you talk about.

140T to LEO for LM-9 is too old information. I hope next video to be updated with actual data about planned capabilities of this rocket.

Lol no not in the wildest politburo fantasy is China anywhere near that competency.

China put up a space station on its own with no external help, not even the US has accomplished that feat.

I doubt it.

The space station is real. Where is America's own space station ? Do not tell me you still need Russia module to maintain orbit.
@ivanfreely636611 ай бұрын
@@ciditan1615 You misunderstood the guy's comment. Nothing lasts forever. Henry Ford being the first to mass produce the automobile did not guarantee Ford to dominate the auto industry. IIRC, Toyota today is now the dominate player based on the number of Sales and Ford Motor Company is no where near the top 5.

@@ciditan1615 yes and yes. America needs Russia to maintain its current space station. Why? The diplomatic dependency kept Soviet rocket scientists busy after the cold war and away from third nation rocket programs. From a political perspective this was a great success for the US. I'm stressing "was" here. The US is currently building new space stations (privately owned, state subsidized) that will take over from the ISS but that step is not a super fast one and it was started a bit late IMO.

@@_aullik America did a lot to slow down other countries. That may serve its own interests. But delayed the progress of human space technology. The same mindset of western countries - the 5 eyes, is becoming the barrier of human race. All but about maintain dominance on global issues and hegemony. No moral highground. no leadship. Just total corruption and deprivation.

2;55 Still saying musks failing rocket is the best. You are obviously american. So musk has a rocket that uses 1950s tech, kerosine and O2, that doesnt go any higher than low earth orbit, and thats a world leader ?
