Driving through the most scary and dangerous mountain road - 72 Curves of Nujiang River in Tibet, also known as "Nujiang 72 Turns". Along China National Highway G318 from Wada Village to Bamda Town, Baxoi County, Chamdo.

"Nujiang 72 Turns": refers to the Yela Mountain winding road with an altitude of 4,618 meters at the pass on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway G318. It passes through the Nujiang River in Baxoi County, Qamdo Prefecture, Tibet. The road is steep and dangerous, and is known as the "Ninety nine U-Turns", Yela Mountain’s “108 Turns”, and “Sichuan-Tibet 99 Turns”. According to some statistics, there are actually more than 130 turns.
"Nujiang 72 Turns" climbs from the lowest point of 3,100 meters above sea level to the highest point of Yela Pass, 4,651 meters above sea level, and then spirals down to Bamda Town, 4,100 meters above sea level. As the only way to pass through the southern Sichuan-Tibet Highway, for many riders or drivers, it is precisely because of its danger that it has more challenging value.

Shanghai-Nyalam Highway, is an ordinary highway in China and one of the horizontal lines of China's national road network. The number is G318. The starting point is Huangpu District, Shanghai, and the end point is Nyalam County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. The total distance is 5,476 kilometers.

The 72-turns of Nu River you wanted has finally posted. Although the shock-absorber broke down in Baxoi County and made a loud disturbing sound during the whole trip, but I still persevered to film all the way to Xinduqiao Town. I hope everyone will forgive me for the flaws of the sound recording since then. Some parts of the road must be ancient as there are some handmade stone walls and old trees. First one who moved there were the donkeys which also survived and still can be seen walking around.

Indeed 😂, the shock absorber broke when I was just leaving Baxoi County, and repairs required to wait at least 2 days for parts to be delivered, so I decided to continue driving more than a thousand kilometers back to Chengdu to have it repaired.
