It is not our government or tri-services' forward policy Sir. It is Bharatwasi's policy and it has 2 steps, 1st secure Bharat's original Eastern borders, and 2nd restore Tibet as our neighbour, R.O.C. and P.R.C. both are fired from being our neighbour, and till we achieve this we will keep on electing strong government which gives free hand to our tri-services to achieve our 2 steps... very simple to understand and difficult to accept.. yeh toh hokar rahega.. Rezang-La ki veer C-Company ki kasam, Veer Shaitansinh ki kasam..

Great analysis General Sir. I am wondering if China is ambiguous to India’s position i.e. they are not sure if India is an independent player or a US ally. This causes it to be aggressive locally and friendly globally. The net effect is an India-China border dispute ends up benefiting US in the Pacific and Taiwan. Second China’s idea of power is “active domination” i.e. be seen at all times growing economically/ politically/territorial etc. That as you can imagine puts them at odds with everyone including India. India’s idea of power is “passive in the short run but opportunistic in the long run”; we are somewhat dormant but we wake up sporadically to big opportunities and that scares the devilry out of China who believe in “active domination on all fronts”.

Came to know about something completely new today. I also believe that India-China relations are so structurally antagonistic, that we cannot be friends for atleast a century. However with China getting weak in the future as you have explained. It can end up like USSR. In that condition US unipolarity would return, something not good for India. Thats why I think we should not completely ally with US against China. What do you think Sir?

It is China’s aim to ensure all peripheral nations, especially India never possess a challenge in the future. They will seek to continuously minimize our presence in the Himalayas all they way to the plains. Likewise when we gain strength it will be in our interest to minimize Chinese capabilities in Tibet and ensure our northern plains are well protected. They only way to solve this is the reestablishment of an independent Tibet. Tibet needs to be strictly neutral much like Switzerland in Europe. Anything less than this will only keep the pot boiling permanently.
@biggpicture2930
@biggpicture2930 9 сағат бұрын
But independent tibet is never the intention of india. India thinks it inherited the british india and thinks tibet, myamar etc should be part of india, and have been annexing surrounding nations since independence

India has no border with China, that is stand and stance of Indians. Inept politicians do not know how to teach Yunnan, Tibet, Uighur, Mongolia and Manchuria occupier. We condemn global manipulator in chief by currency exchange rates, promoting corruption in democracies, exploiting minerals and labor in China, violating human rights, no democracy in China leading to autocratic rule, and not raising this issue by EU, US the champions of business, trade, human rights etc etc etc, with naive, inept, corrupt and gullible politicians of jhumlatantra and lootmar-e-khangress have denigrated interests of Indians. China is not called out for violating all issues. Liberate Tibet and end this issue, break the bones of PLA princes, abduct agrresive PLA intrusions and negotiate from strength instead of talking and talking and talking. You retired General, and still keep analyzing instead of doing karma to get where we need to be. Thank you for not doing your karma when you were General. You should focus your discussion on eastern border of Tibet and discuss why Indian army does not target the highway build by PLA through J&K and CPEC through PoJK.

You ignore the policies of the Govt of India in Delhi over 75 years which vastly increased the military as well as economic disparity between India and China and India adopted a meek and submissive attitude. Today we have to solve today's problems with a vastly powerful and absolutely unscrupulous neighbor bidding to be tomorrow's superpower.On what basis do you blame retired generals for decisions and mismanagement of the Delhi based Government of India and its successive ministers?

@@biggpicture2930 Nobody is a weakling. Everybody has strengths and weaknesses.In the Galwan stand off the occupation of the Kailash Ridge put the Chinese on the back foot during subsequent negotiations. At Yang Tse the repulsion of 300 Chinese soldiers put China on the back foot there.The same thing repeated frequently on a larger scale is the key. Because on paper the Chinese are more powerful than India.
