Hi question, the Chinese consulate appear to insist for former Chinese nationals or any revisiting visa applicant to provide their old passport with a record of last visa from China. My last visit was 27 years ago and I don’t have any records of my old passport, travel document nor my visa then. There seems to be no alternative instructions on the website. Any suggestions?

Try to get the first form done ASAP so you can book your appointment, then you can change errors while waiting. Do this by starting new form and using the previous form prefilled then attach the new form with no errors to the appointment.

If I submit the first form so as to get an appointment date, and then I begin a new form, a new application number will be issued.

Sorry I'd like to ask, were you applying for the F Visa, you mentioned you were invited, so an invitation letter was sent to you. Well I do have an au pair opportunity in China, the host family has agreed to send the invitation letter, I am applying for the F Visa, since its more of an exchange program. Please do I select single entry or double entry? I have more questions to ask, I'm just confused as what to do.

i applied for Q. you can ask for more entries but they will probably decide what to give u, they will tell u at the counter how many they will end up giving u

Hello. Can I ask you one question? I'm going to submit my Chinese visa application for me and my seven months old baby. On the day I visit the embassy, is it necessary to bring my baby with me to the embassy? Thanks

I did not need to bring my 20 month old child but did need birth certificate and passport for example at visa application center. Make sure you have the right documents then u can go and apply on Child behalf.

Thank you for your video. Is there any specific requirement for the paper passport photos? I already failed uploading my photo online once. Can i delete my application and start a new one to try again (if i fail uploading 3 times)? Thanks.

U didn’t understand. The passport photo can be brought in physically once the online upload fails. It will say so after it fails the third time.

Q: Re: Q2 Visa application invite letter what did your relos fill in for ‘ PURPOSE of visit for yourself ‘ ? Is it ok to tick ‘ self funded ‘ ?

I am a little confused by the question, i dont remember the details of my relatives' letter it seemed pretty generic. I do remember putting that my trip was self funded on some form but i dont remember where. Sorry I couldnt be more helpful

Hi, on the form there is an option where I can submit application by post but have been advised that application by post is currently not available which confused me. I rang the Melbourne service centre no. and the automated voice message says that application by post does not apply to rush and express service and it takes up to 10 working days instead of 4 working days for regular service. I live in Melbourne and am applying for tourist visa. Would you know if I can submit my application by post?

Hello Michael! I will visit China in August and I need to apply for the visa. Since the nearest embassy is a two-hour flight away, I am unable to come in person to collect the visa. Is it possible to receive it by mail or post?

I think u might have to go there in person for the application but once it’s approved u can choose to collect it by mail
