I am enjoying watching your horses worked in such a quiet fashion. So many on the internet "hoozle" their horses. Chinaco has a bit of growing to do to to grow into that head of his! He he should end up a distinguished gentleman with a profile like that.

Thank you, Sir, for the confirmation. I've had a taste of this style and had luck with it. Don't do much now, but when I see folks working horses this way it starts coming back. Looking forward to more videos as he progresses.

Wonderful video! Was that the first time Chinaco has been in a trailer? And are you keeping the mane braided to the left side because you rope right-handed? I hope to introduce the filly I have been working with to trailer loading as soon as I can get my hands on one. For now we just work in an outdoor ring. Everything you are showing me is going right to her so I thank you.

What do you do if your horse runs out of the trailer after a few seconds? I can’t close the divider at all yet bc of that

The first thing I would say is not to let him come out. Your presence will dictate that. I’ll try to find some old trailer loading footage to post so you can see what I mean. Bottom line is the horse should walk in the trailer and stand there comfortably with the door open. It shouldn’t be a race to slam it shut.
