There will be no bridge build in that section to cross the river 16:22. A diversion channel will be built instead to redirect the river keeping it north of the highway. As soon as the river is diverted then the old river course will be filled in and the highway built over it which it will then cross the box culvert already built heading over a road overpass which crosses Fairfield road to Bogue. An interchange will be built at that overpass junction.
