I cannot imagine a young person going through such trauma. With the mother in hand she softens after learning Wen Nuan mental condition when she meets Yisin instigation and she became more aggressive and determined to break them. Old Goa is a remarkable person... love for him his loyalty and deep understanding of any situation. Nanxian hold on there ..you are brilliant and good strategist. Also use it to turn your mother around.

Nor does he know at this point that Yixin took Nuan's call meant for him. Also, it has been deliberately kept from him that Nuan is ill and lost her memories. And Yixin has never told him that Nuan did think about getting back with him soon after breaking up and Yixin encouraged her not to.

He does not want her to be, but his mom and for most of the series, Yinix does. They dredge it up over and over again. Nanxian begs Nuan to fight for their love and set aside his mom's terrible comments to her. The problem is that Nuan does feel enormous guilt about th death of her dad and Nanxian's dad. For a very long time, she does not feel that she deserves to be forgiven.

Ninxian's mother is so selfish and heartless and she knows it... I get that she's also hurting from the death of his husband but she must respect her son's choice. She's NOT acting like a wise parent. How does one cause a whole aeroplane accident? It was time for Ninxian and Wen Nuan's father to pass on. If it wasn't meant to be he would have survived that crash no matter what. Hao she wouldn't ask Yixin for validation that she's not selfish and heartless if she had a clear conscience 🙄
