I'm with you man! These live versions have been very raw and energetic. I've enjoyed them much more than the originals (Animal Flow wasn't my favorite Ren track but definitely loved the acoustic). And both Fingers and this one's kiev interpretations are much better than the recorded versions.

You and I are very different, but we have an identical technique for watching Chinchilla... the transfixed gaze, the permanent-smile, the lack of words, the half-assed attempt to rewind it, the brief moment trying to remember if you rewound it ... and absolutely no idea what happened to those 5 mins. What a performer! I'm glad she's such a sweetheart IRL bc if she told me to go jump off a cliff with one of her crazy-ass vocal runs, I'd do it. Cheers.

i prefer the original cause her as backing vocals is to powerfull. she has a really strong voice. the backing vocals are too gentle in here and clean this needs anger and rage. here its kinda classic singing back vocals takes away from the subject for me. groetjes van mij naar Anthony :) belgie en nederland is bijna hetzelfde :)

Chinchilla in the two versions shows varying aspects of the same song, both portray anger but of different forms. The two versions depict the journery of the primary character along the stages of grief and anger. The studio version portrays the rage at the subject who inflicted the pain, whilst the live version portrays the contemplative anger at having to mourn the loss of the 'little girl gone'; at being forced to have become a different person. The backing signers in the live version reflect the sorrowful nature of the type of anger Chinchilla is protraying and fits very well with the naritive of this version. That Chinchilla is able to take a single song and recast it into two widely differing but complete pieces speaks volumes to her talent, skill and genius.
