Beef Honeycomb Tripe ingredients
Cleaning Tripe:
----------------
2 lbs fresh beef honeycomb tripe
4 tablespoons canola oil
5 cups water
1/3 cups vinegar
salt
2 tablespoons Chinese wine (shaoxing wine) or rice wine
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Spices:
------
2 inches knob of ginger sliced
4 star anise
1 teaspoon cloves
1/2 oz rock sugar
a couple of orange peels
Sauce:
------
1 red bean cube and 2 tablespoons of the liquid
2 tablespoons chu hou paste
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
