Chinese bhel is an adaptation of American chopsuey recipe and also a fusion recipe that is made for Indian tastebuds. This recipe of Chinese bhel is too delicious and tastes exactly like a street style chinese bhel
n then the crisp and crunchy manchurian balls gives it more crunchynes and flavor 😋
so let's make Chinese bhel with manchurian
For shezwan sauce
15 cloves of garlic
3 pieces 1 inch size ginger
3 green chillies
2-3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp red chilli sauce
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp sugar
pinch of red food color (optional)
1 glass (200ml ) water
1 tbsp cornflour mixed with half cup water
For Veg Manchurian balls
100 to 150 grms cabbage
1tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp Black pepper powder
1 heaped tbsp cornflour
¼ cup Maida (all purpose flour)
2 to 3 tbsp water/ as required
oil for deep frying
For street style chinese bhel
cabbage 3 tbsp
capsicum 1 tbsp
spring onions 1 tbsp
shezwan sauce 2 tbsp (as per taste )
manchurian balls 3 to 4
and fried noodle ½ cup
mix all the ingrediants in a bowl
N crisp n crunchy chinese bhel ready
Fried Noodles in this video are readymade that u can easily get in supermarkets or online
bt if u want to make it at home follow this steps
1. Heat 3 cups water in a sauce pan on a high flame. Add ⅓ teaspoon salt and 2-3 drops of oil to it .Let the water come to a rolling boil.
2.Lower the flame and add 1 packet or 75 grams noodles. You can use instant, whole wheat, hakka or all purpose flour noodles.
3.With a fork or a spoon press the noodles in the boiling water. Cook noodles on a medium flame till they become al dente.(90 %cooked)
4.Strain the noodles in a colander,Then rinse the cooked noodles very well with fresh water.
5.remove the noodles in a large plate or tray. spread them evenly. Let noodles cool at room temperature for.after it cools down you can begin to deep fry them
6.before frying add 1.5 tablespoons corn flour (corn starch) on the noodles.
7.Mix very well so that the corn flour (corn starch) coats the noodles well. You can use a pasta or noodle tong to mix.
8.Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai or a pan. Add the noodles and fry them till golden n crisp
