I'm living within my means not wasting money on unnecessary things, taking the kids out to do more nature things, eating healthier, unwinding at the end of the day by turning off all electronics. So true, I was at peace while watching him cook and play with his dog. So many people can live this life of peace if society could just stop spending money on things you think you NEED instead of things you just WANT. Want and need is two different things. @J Cripps In today's world..not only is this a naive thing to say..for a teacher to show such favorability to a student is also incredibly inappropriate. There are countless accounts of students having sex with teachers in the news..and I personally have known several who traded sex for good grades and easy assignments. Is it ethical to do so? Of course not. Does it happen frequently? Absolutely. And it's very clear this young man is Gay. And in Asia..there is a tradition of older gay men..even the closeted ones married to women..to take on a young man as a lover and give him a car and apartment. This young man is showing all the signs of being taken care of by an older gay man..and since it's China..where family culture is everything..being gay there is still not a good thing..so it's possible that of course he said he is renting from a teacher for the sake of privacy and to protect him and his sugar daddy.

@J Cripps My husband is a tenured professor. And he comes from a family filled with educators. None of them have known even ONE colleague who had rented their home to a student. Not ONE. I'm sure it happens..but not that often..mainly for the reasons I mentioned. I have a friend from China whom I showed this video too..and she laughed and said "OMG..this happens all the time in China! Some rich guy lets his young lover live in one of his homes..or rents a home and car for him. EVERYBODY knows what is going on..but as long as they are quiet and private about it..nobody cares." I stand by my comment as well..and quite frankly..am surprised so many people can't believe this is happening here. I have known many people..both gay and straight..male and female..who were in a similar type of situation..so..what's the big deal? It's not immoral. It's not illegal. And women marry men all the time for their money..so..again..not sure why this is so hard to believe.
