Actually, I checked that and here are the numbers. There are many electrical vehicles in Norway and the country is striving to ban fossil fuel, but we are not just there yet. By the end of 2023, 689,169 electric passenger cars were registered in Norway. This represented 24 percent of the total passenger car fleet. In comparison, in 2016, 97,532 electric passenger cars were registered, a share of less than 4 percent of all passenger cars. 截至2023年底，挪威已注册电动乘用车689,169辆。这占乘用车总量的24%。相比之下，2016 年注册的电动乘用车为 97,532 辆，占所有乘用车的比例不到 4%。

Yes. This car consumes a LOT of power at any time, it is big, heavy and basically a brick on wheels 😅 but I love it! Consumption in winter at -20 degrees celsius is about half from summer i would say 🫣

Chinese electric vehicles are priced significantly lower than those in other countries. However, this lower price does not imply inferior quality. China boasts the world’s most comprehensive electric vehicle supply chain, both in its breadth and depth, far surpassing that of other nations. In the past, China had hundreds of electric car manufacturers, but only a few dozen remain after intense market competition in both the world’s largest fossil fuel vehicle market and the largest electric vehicle market. Therefore, cars validated in such a rigorous market are not of low quality. Additionally, China's technology and patents for batteries, lidar, and vehicle systems outpace those of foreign competitors while offering lower prices. In Beijing, I drive a Huawei M7, commuting about 100 kilometers each day. Despite encountering highly congested and narrow city roads after the highway, I rarely need to intervene in the intelligent driving system over the past six months. In Malaysia for business for over half a year, my father has been using the car and plans to buy me a Huawei M9 upon my return, reserving the M7 for traveling with my mother, given that China’s vast geography makes such intelligent driving systems much more convenient and safe.

The advance in intelligent driving systems is outstanding, we looked at the M9 ourselves when we were in Beijing, I personally love this car. Unfortunately, anything from Huawei is hardly available and faces bans in the "western" world, politics. I would love to test the M9 on the road and see the LIDAR system in action. Maybe next time.
