The government must handle the geopolitical conflict between the two superpowers wisely. U.S. authorities have blocked many Chinese companies from entering the U.S. market. However, Chinese companies require third-country geo-economic status to enter the U.S. market. Malaysia has intellectual property rights and international goodwill that Chinese companies can leverage.

We shouldn't promise anything. What we are is a neutral trading platform. US can sanction whatever companies they want. China can sell whatever they want. If either is not happy, that's too bad. Malaysia should stand our ground and be the bridge between West and Asia.

Why China choose Malaysia ? Why not Thailand or Indonesia? Obviously Malaysia is deemed as not equal partner. What China company has done to Proton after Malaysia sell to them? Target missed and promises not fulfilled. What did Country Gardern did to Johore property reputation ?

Local Benefits must be priotised and outweigh the rest in any of such negotiations involving 3rd parties. If the negotiation will only see small and minor parts of the operation being migrated to Malaysia for local jobs creation while the rest is operating elsewhere, what is the incentive of doing such favor for others?

The decision of Chinese companies to relocate production to Malaysia to avoid US tariffs highlights the complexity and dynamism of global trade. This move not only reflects their adaptability to economic conditions but also potential economic benefits for Malaysia, such as increased investment and job creation. However, this phenomenon raises questions about the sustainability and long-term impact on the economies involved

Yeah...I doubt that even these companies from West Taiwan will help Malaysia much, especially when even West Taiwan itself is already of a brink of collapse. Let's be honest here: Who is at fault for that in the first place? I REALLY don't want to hear the folks keep blamming the outsiders for their own woes.

Akhirnya papan tanda juga akan gunakan bahasa China juga..
